Especially for Educators

Educator Workshops and Open House

Powell Gardens hosts more than 5,000 students on field trips every year. Don't let your students miss out on this learning experience in a setting they will love.

At Powell Gardens' Educator Open House, you would see what field trips at Powell Gardens are all about. Take a trip around the Gardens through the lens of our Youth Education staff. We lead you through our most popular programs and take you on a tour through the Heartland Harvest Garden, the nation's largest edible landscape.

Participants leave with a wealth of information and some great giveaways. At each open house event, you will leave with an education packet and a free plant to take home! We know strong, local PTA/PTOs play a critical role in supporting out-of-class experiences, so we encourage educators and PTO/PTA officers to attend our open house events. These events are free for teachers and PTA/PTO officers, who may each bring one guest for free. All other attendees will pay regular Garden admission.

Currently there are no educator workshops or open house events scheduled. Check back on this page for future fall and spring dates. Can't wait?
