Calendar-at-a-Glance

Greetings from the Education Director
Fall at Powell Gardens has lots in store for everyone. Come see Dave Rogers' Big Bugs, a special exhibit featuring some big vegetables, through October 3, 2010. Take a stroll. Sign up for a class. From painting to building projects, we have it all. Learn about native plants through our fall Native Plant School (NPS) series.

A Special note about the print version of the Garden Culture: In order to keep class costs down and be more responsible to the environment, non-members will receive a Garden Culture postcard starting in spring 2011 complete with class titles, dates and links to our Web site to see class details. On our Web site, you will be able to print off a PDF of the current issue of the full-text version of the Garden Culture.

Friends of Powell Gardens will continue to receive the Garden Culture insert in the Garden View brochure. This is one of the many benefits we offer our members. Join Friends of Powell Gardens by calling Emalie at 816-697-2600 ext. 234. Visit our online store to register for classes and much more at shop.powellgardens.org. Hope to see you at the Gardens!

Sincerely,

Eric Jackson
Director of Education
