Barn Dinners at Powell Gardens
Missouri Barn Dinner Series
Gather with friends in the heart of the Heartland Harvest Garden for a casual dinner featuring the best flavors of the season. Each multi-course dinner will be prepared by a different guest chef and enjoyed during a relaxed evening in the Gardens. In 2013, we featured four exceptional chefs, including Joe West, formerly Chef de Cuisine at Bluestem and now Executive Chef at The Cincinnatian Hotel; Patrick Ryan, Chef/Owner at Port Fonda; Linda Duerr, Executive Chef at The River Club; and Max Watson, formerly Head Chef at Remedy Food + Drink.
We are working on a great lineup for 2014. More details and tickets will be available in April.
Live-Fire Dinner with Food Network's Grill Mayor Craig Jones
June 29 will mark a first for Powell Gardens: a multi-course dinner created over live fire.
Prepare your palate to be amazed by the range of flavors that can be created from cooking over the magic of live fire. Craig Jones, Food Network's Grill Mayor, will create a multi-course dinner showcasing the flair and craft of cooking on outdoor grills. This will not be your standard backyard barbeque! Limited seating will be available. Tickets go on sale in April.
