Pancakes with the Easter Bunny & Easter Egg Hunt

Enjoy a pancake breakfast by Chris Cakes followed by a traditional egg hunt on the rolling green lawn behind the Visitor Education Center. Learn more.

Spring Plant Sale

Whether you're a serious green thumb or just like to tinker in the garden, you'll find plenty of inspiration at Powell Gardens' only plant sale of the year on in early May. 

Mother's Day Brunch & Concert

Fund-raising Events

Under a Blue Moon: Garden Party and Rare Plant Auction

Join us on Sunday, June 12, 2016 for one of Powell Gardens' premier events, which raises funds for children's educational programs in the Heartland Harvest Garden. The evening includes a cocktail reception, silent and live auctions featuring hard-to-find plants, garden treasures and exclusive trips, and an elegant dinner.

Under a Harvest Moon: A Farm-to-Table Dinner

Celebrate the autumn harvest on Sunday, September 18, 2016 with a farm-to-table dinner prepared by one of the areas most celebrated chefs. Under a Harvest Moon raises funds for children's education programs in the Heartland Harvest Garden. Cody Hogan, of Lidia's in Kansas City, Mo., is the guest chef for the 2016 Under a Harvest Moon with this year's co-chairs, Ken Millsap and Jay Wilson.
