Halloween Fun at Powell Gardens
Halloween traditions run deep at Powell Gardens. Mark your calendar for these favorites:
Spooktacular: October 19-20
Spooktacular is a favorite tradition for families with young children. Storybook characters come to life in skits throughout the Gardens, which are decorated with creatively carved Jack-O-Lanterns. Children are invited to wear a costume and bring a trick-or-treat bag for a spooktacular time! Refreshments are served following the tour.
This event requires reservations. No cancellations after October 13.
All slots are now full. Consider attending Sunday's Jack-O-Lantern Walk!
Jack-O-Lantern Walk: Dusk-9 p.m. October 21
Take a self-guided walk through the Gardens by the eerie light of uniquely carved Jack-O-Lanterns for a spectacular evening of Halloween fun. No reservations required. Regular Garden admission applies.
Scarecrows in the Gardens: October 1-31
What would a garden be without someone to ward off the crows? Each October Powell Gardens displays Midwestern creativity with a display of scarecrows made by staff, volunteers and members of the public.
