Garden Party and Rare Plant Auction

Powell Garden's 10th Annual Under a Blue Moon–Garden Party and Rare Plant Auction begins at 5 p.m. on Sunday, June 9th with cocktails and a silent auction featuring newly released and hard-to-find plants and other treasures. Following the silent auction, guests will enjoy an elegant dinner, catered by Lon Lane's Inspired Occasions, and wine pairings. The dinner will take place in a grand tent overlooking the Island Garden. A fast-paced live auction will feature garden tours and trips available exclusively through donors and members of Powell Gardens.
 
Proceeds from this event allow children to learn first-hand about healthy eating by planting, growing, harvesting and preparing fresh food in our youth education garden. This year’s event Chair is Sheldon Andrew, and Marvin Snyder is serving as honorary Chairman.
 
Tickets for the gala are $175. Patron tickets are $325. Sponsorship opportunities range from $3,000 to $10,000.  Sponsors will receive preferred seating, tickets to Under a Harvest Moon, September 22 and recognition in the Garden View newsletter.
