'Gardening with Purpose' is the theme for Powell Gardens' 2016 Spring Plant Sale. Find promising new plants and the best of the tried and true—all carefully selected by our talented horticulture employees. Come meet the professionals who make Kansas City's botanical garden beautiful! They will be at the sale to answer questions.
Start planning your trip by downloading the plant sale lists (see the right column). The selection includes unique edibles and herbs along with great plants for pollinators, butterflies and insectaries. In keeping with the theme, you will find plants that tolerate heat and drought, and resist diseases and pests. All plants featured in the sale are grown in an insect- and wildlife-friendly manner—no worries over misuse of pesticides.
Entry to the sale is included with Garden admission of $10/adults, $9/seniors 60+, $4/children 5-12 and free/members.
You can use cash, check or credit card to pay for plants at the sale. Sorry, we cannot accept Powell Gardens' gift cards as payment.
